Join us for this 2 hour beginner level foraging tour through the beautiful Stanley Park in downtown Vancouver. Our guides will show you how to identify local edible plants and explain how they have been used traditionally both by First Nations and Europeans alike. Taking place every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 10am and again at 1pm, rain or shine. This tour is suitable for families and is an easy walk with strollers and for those with limited mobility. Please note that harvesting will not take place in these protected park spaces. Meet us at 9:45am at the Stanley Park Bus Loop on Rose Garden Lane on the day of the tour.

Be sure to bring your camera, snacks, a bottle of water, and a notepad. Laminated foraging field guides will be available for purchase from your guide for $10. Reservations are required in advance and tours operate rain or shine.
Children under 9 years of age are free when accompanying an adult. Groups 3+ are eligible for a 20% automatic discount when registering online, and groups of 10+ save 25%.
If you have prepaid for your tour or purchased a ticket through a third party, please continue to the billing page at the checkout and choose the "Prepaid Voucher" payment option instead of entering with your credit card information. Your voucher will then be verified by our team before confirming your purchase. Your voucher will not be applied to your order if you attempt to enter it in the promo code box.
Weather
Tours run rain or shine. We encourage our participants to dress appropriately for the weather. Hazardous weather warnings from Environment Canada during the scheduled time of a tour will result in cancellation of the tour.
Changes by us
We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion, and cancel tours and events that do not meet our minimum required number of participants. As professionals we will endeavour to avoid this and if this is necessary, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value.
Cancellation
Cancellation of your booking must be in writing or by email to Forager Tours. You are entitled to a full refund only if you give us 48 hours notice of your intention to cancel. If you choose to cancel within 48 hours before the start of your tour, no refunds will be granted. You can choose to change your tour departure to another date (subject to availability). Permission to do this up to 48 hours before departure is entirely at the discretion of Forager Tours.
